Default Help to Make Sure I buy the Right Rims

I found this guy selling 4 really nice Chrome Rims (for his grandfather) for super cheep $600! Right now I have the stock Rims that came with my SLT 2009 Ram 1500. I want to use the tires I have now on the new rims (don't want to buy new tires seeing as mine are only 3 months old) All I know about the Rims is they are 5 bolt pattern and came of a Chrysler 300C I know $600 is a super deal but not if they don't fit! Is there any help or info you all can give?

Thanks,

P.S. That is my Truck in my Sig.

Wrong bolt pattern. You want to be really carefull about trying to using any car rims on a truck unless you don't care about load capacity.

the correct bolt pattern for your truck is 5x5.5

Don't wonder, it's critical to make sure. You really don't want your rims to shatter on you when you're braking hard.
For that reason alone, I would never use rims designed for a car on a truck, or use rims from a 1500 on a 25 or 3500. Probably one of the reasons why Chrysler changed the bolt pattern on the HD line from the 1500's.

Are there any number that you can fug some and still use the same tire? I found some nice rims (that are for the RAM) there 20x9 and I have 20x8.5 what dose that 8.5 number mean? because if I have to buy new tires I can't get those rims.

Here is the link to the Rims

8.5 and 9 are the rim width in inches. 1/2" difference should be OK to use the same tires. Bigger issue is making sure that they have the correct backspacing.

As long as the rims aren't ridulously wide, they should be OK. The worst that'll happen is that you'll get some rubbing when you turn the front wheels really deep. Wheel spacers will fix that problem, but they come with their own headaches, in that you've got to ensure they stay tightened routinely.

Here is some info for backspacing and offset
http://www.customtacos.com/tech/index.php?article=40

The standard rims on the RAM have +19mm offset, the rims you like have +18mm offset.
I have the KMC XD Monster on my RAM, also 20x9 and +18mm offset. They fit perfect.
