Backup Camera advise
Thanks!
Car backup cameras are a hot commodity when it comes to checking the factory option list on many new cars, but some new cars, we recently reviewed, don’t offer such systems and this technology wasn’t even available on most older cars. To remedy this situation, Audivox, a leading innovator for in-vehicle electronics, offers a wide range of ingenious products that make backing up safer and more convenient. One of the company’s latest products is the Audiovox ACA250 wireless backup camera which provides the same safety and convenience of a factory backup camera with a low cost and easy installation on practically any car.

Check the new car backup camera system according to the manufacturer's instructions. Reattach the bolts, clips, trim & fasteners that had held the bumper in place. In the event you are not confident to replace the elderly backup camera kits yourself, you may drive to the automobile care middle .They would help you get it out & replace a brand spanking new for you.
I upgraded to the REN, added an AllGig and an aftermarket backup camera with "nightvision"($40 on Ebay.) Everything works well together. The only issues I can comment on is the field of view on my camera is not great, I cannot see the hitch when its on but I can see behind me well enough. At night my camera is actually too bright, I would suggest that the nightvision is not necesarry. The AllGig is fantastic though. I added a front camera and installed a video switch to make it work.
I bought a Sony mini CCD with a swivel mount and rear view mirror from Gentex http://store.visorview.com/backup-camera.aspx Works really well. I mounted the camera on the tailgate handle (It's really small), and you can select pretty much any view you want. Just make sure you get a CCD camera wherever you buy from--the non CCD just doesn't have the resolution.
I got this cause I couldn't resist at the price and don't have a REN.. It works very well (for what it costs) Its not a Garmin but does ok as a GPS. For those of us without the factory option, this is a good product.

Can anyone with the OEM camera post a screenshot of what shows up on the screen. I would like to add a keyhole type camera to my truck, but I want to be able to see the entire bumper.
With the OEM camera, can you see both ends of the bumper on the screen?
Thanks
