Not to be judgemental or anything, straight pipes are kind of obnoxious IMHO. And honestly, what are they getting you unless you have ram air or a supercharger or some other active air intake system? Just a loud truck?
You actually have to bring your vehicle in to get inspected? What is this world coming to! Hopefully it will be a while before that crap gets to this state, half the cars in my county would fail including mine.

Straight pipes are very obnoxious, thats why I like them. For the most part you lose power removing the muffler due to a lack of back pressure but its worth it to me

right before the muffler, and atleast get a K&N drop in for better air flow with this
