I've had Dakotas since 87. Woulda bought another if they didn't ruin it and the RAM wasn't so nice. Pretty much getting better gas mileage with the RAM as long as I stay out of it.

The sub box under the seats is that custom built?

i prolly had more in mods on that dakota than i do my ram.. hmm.. im pretty sure. i had the truck painted black, new carpet, leather seats from a durango and... well... much more

the enclosure is a MTX thunderform box that i painted myself in my garage... but i swapped in RE subs and a 600 watt class d alpine pdx 600.1 amp

Same progression here:
03 Dakota 4.7 4x4 QC Desert Brown - was oddity w/ AWD but 3.21s

Compared to 4.7, I now get better MPG by 25% and WAY more Get-Up-and-GO !!
