Hooked up my trailer today and can see that I deffinately need air bags. The *** end is far too soft. Looking for opinions on air bags, who has what, any issues etc. Also, anyone running air bags with the Dodge leveling kit in the rear? Any issues there?

 

I'm not sure if it will help but what about trying some adjustable shocks like the rancho 9000s?

 

changing the shocks will not be enough to counteract the sag. Several people on here have the air bags and most all of them have good things to say about them. I will be getting a set this spring.

 

I installed the air-lift 1000 air bags and they work great and was easy to install. I drilled a hole on the flat part of the hitch and attached the air line to the hitch which makes it easy to inflate. I keep the bags at 21 lbs all year round and had close to 1700 lbs in the bed and it sagged about 1 inch.

 

Thanks. That is info I am looking for. This thing sagged more with 600 pounds of tongue weight then my old Chevy one ton did with 4 tonnes in the bed. That is what a 14 spring leaf pack will get you though. I can get any kit I want through my bro. Just looking for feedback on any that people have used.
