Default Problems with the '09 dodge ram pickup

I have been driving dodge vehicles for as long as i can remember. I purchased an '09 dodge ram pickup last year, one week before my bday.
I have had nothing but problems with it. The front driver seat would not stay attached to the floor. When i reclined the front driver seat, the cable broke and it would not come back up. Have a vibration/rubbing feeling under the gas pedal. Will not go away.
I have taken my truck in numerous times and also have called chrysler company. They have fixed the seat issue, but say that the feeling under the gas pedal is a "normal" thing. I dont think so. I used to have an '02 dodge ram pickup. It didnt do that and i dont like the feeling that this new pickup has. Told them that too and i tried to get them to do more about it, but they wont.
The lady....bj, from chrysler wont even return my calls anymore. Anyone else having problems with their '09 pickup? Call chrysler and complain. Let them know that there are issues they need to fix and look into.

I'm sorry you're having problems with your 09 Ram, I kinda have a slight vibration on my gas pedal as well, not sure how much vibration you're having though. Overall from what I see on this forum and people that I know that have either a 09 or 10 Ram, no problems. There's bound to be an occasional Ram that has some issues though. As far as Dodge/Chrysler's customer service, I'm not surprised. What I would do is keep going back to the service dept and if they BS you, tell them you're gonna contact the Attorney General for your state. It helps if you have a name to throw down.Another route is to contact one of your local news channel for your town/city.Besides that, I really don't have anything else to tell ya.Good luck

At least it is working....

Next time you feel the vibration use the shifter and put it into "5" or put the truck in Tow/Haul mode and let us know if it goes away.

I have the pedal vibration too as do a lot of others on here. I think it is natural engine harmonics as mine only does it between 1900-2100 rpm's.

when i had the stock wheels and tires i didn't have a vibration. after swapping out the tires and rims i have a vibration but i think it's the more aggressive tread on the tires. who knows
