A 6in lift changes your geometry so much that the auto 4wd has issues with engaging for no reason or not working at all

Does yours have a 2wd option? Such as it goes: 2wd / 4wd Auto / 4wd lock / 4 lo - if that is the case you can install a 6in kit.

I didnt know they still offered a full time 4wd t-case. If that is the case... then I wouldnt even install a 4in kit. The driveline angle changes will probably cause a vibration at high speeds.

All that can be fixed but it's a pain in the you know what and lots of $$$$$$$$. That's why I gave up the life of being lifted.

Well, that sucks! I was really looking at lifting my Laramie and was leaning more toward a 6" but if the 4" is still going to screw things up, I will forego that as well.

Superlift doesn't mention anything about that with the 4" or 6" lifts?? They make the Mopar lift.

It sounds like 4" is the max you can go without messing up the driveshaft angle and other stuff with 4x4. If you go to 6" it sounds like you will need a new driveshaft, probably SYE, gear shift extender, transfer case extender, longer brake lines, etc. The money adds up.

The 6 inch lifts come with all the neccessary parts. Mine came with a front driveshaft spacer, a Transfer case index ring, a transmission drop bracket and steel braided brake lines. You don't need a Slip yoke eliminator or longer driveshafts. Look on the tag on your transfer case. If it reads anything except 244D you can install any lift kit you choose. Or send me the last 8 digits of your VIN and I'll tell you what tcase you have
