Default Removing Resonators

I have removed mine sounds great. Okay to answer your question, a resonator is likwe another muffler, but especially on more luxury type cars they dramatically reduce sound from the exhaust. They do this by measuring the wave lenght of the exhaust when it goes into the first muffler the sound waves hit baffles and bounce back creating a king of shock wave. The resonator is another muffler that is precisely match to capture this sound wave and let it out between schock waves thusly greatly reducing exhaust noise. Removing the resonator would completely change your exhaust sound and volume (I think in a good way) hope that helps answer your questions. Dave (Tubby)

Ok. I can get a video together for you, but not tonight or tomorrow night. I'm playing COD Black Ops and I'm pretty hooked right now. I'll do it on Veterans Day for you and post it up.

I guess what I am asking is how dramatic is the difference between resonators on or off?
Taking off your resonaters will make it two times louder. My wife told me she heard me coming while she was upstairs in the house. Before, she was never able to. She still likes the sound of it but can't tell there is a drone even though I can. It makes the truck sound so much better and throatier. You won't be disappointed.

Changing mufflers and removing resonators does nothing for power or mileage.Just sounds better,In fact much may go down as you keep your foot in it.I did for a long time.Still do.

Guys, don't think I forgot about the video. For whatever reason, everytime I record a video, the sound quality is really crappy and makes the exhaust sound like sh*t.
