Default 2010 Ram SLT

Hey guys. New Ram owner here!! Well Sorta. Bought it in December then went on course. (I'm military) Anyway when i got back home (March 27th) all excited to take the beast out for a run, looked at the front bumper and it got rust spots all over it. I'm sure I can't be the only one that this has happened to. I called the dealership and they told me that they are getting calls all over the place regarding this. He also said that theres going to be a recall on it any day at all. Anyone else out there with this problem? I did a search on here to see if I could find anything but no luck.

Cheers,
Mike

i purchased my ram last week in november and i noticed the same thing in early january. brought into the dealer and they said once the winter season was over bring it in and they would change it no questions. I just brought it in last friday, and they changed my chrome bumper but they didnt end up changing the bolts that were rusted out also. so now we are just waiting on them to order the right ones and i will be all taken care of. it sounds like you are going to be covered under warranty my friend

Well first, congrats on the purchase and being back to actually enjoy it. As for your bumper, damn that sucks. I know I've seen a few people on here with the same problem in snowy areas where I guess the salt got to it. I'm sure someone on here has tried it, but I wonder if something like Brasso or Neverdull would take them off?

Seems to be pretty hit or miss on the bumpers. Many have reported the rust issues, I've been keeping an eye on mine but didn't have any rust after this winter.

I live in the Chicago area and have no rust. Hope they fix yours.
