First time I've driven into the sun low on the horizon since truck was new.

Little micro specks throughout the windshield that create a glare similar to road rash pits but more of them and uniform throughout the glass.

Thought it might be paint overspray and tried polishing the windshield with brasso. Didn't change a thing.

Closer examination: it looks like micro-particles inside the glass.

Anyone else have this, or heard of it?

 

I have also noticed this when driving into bright sunrise or sunset light, but I have no answer for it.
