I love my sunroof. I use it all the time. I live in Canada and I like to open the shade on those really cold days where the sun is shining and really helps to heat the inside of the cab. I have the auto temp so it really helps that so the fan is not running on full to keep the cab to temp.

I gotta say I had one in my 2006 Ram and since then I can't imagine not having one. Its the perfect feature for airflow with the rear slider open.

Had one on my Grand Cherokee. It is a leak waiting to happen. The water freezes in the drain tubes and the next time you drive it the snow on the roof melts and drips onto the floor. If your balding, the sun just makes you head hotter that it needs to be.

Default wouldnt bother

My new Ram came with one but that had nothing to do with my decision to buy it. My old Ram didnt and I didnt care. Its one less thing to worry about so Id say dont bother.

I have had multiple bad experiences with sunroofs including one that took 15 trips to the dealer and a call to an outside professional leak repair company by the dealer to finally fix it. All my vehicles had the 4 corner drain tubes that ran down the pillars. The one that caused the most problems was when it dripped from the top of the A pillar onto the side of the dash and then leaked down into the fuse panel.

Sunroofs are nice I must admit, and as said good for retail but FWIW in my opinion they aren't worth the trouble they can potentially bring.
