Yeah it looks like your going to the dark side.......

My 09 handles hills just fine, its not a 2500 but it runs alot nicer than my 02 and 04, better throttle response, shift feel. I get 13-14 mpg towing my boat/trailer which is around 6600lbs. wt. goes higher with a full tank in the boat. All the brands out there are nice in their own way, if you want a answer to your question, go to dodge talk and talk to rep. from mopar, but it looks to me you want one of those tundras with the updated automatic accelerator (ghost in the machine). Good luck with your decision, remember 12/6/1941.

Well I think you know your options and what each truck has to offer. It's all a matter of picking what qualities are higher on the list than another...

And yes, good point rolltide... 12/6/1941

well guys thanks for the feedback
and yes, the 12-6-1941, thats a big part of why I am having the issues at hand,
I went back to a dealer, and took the tundra on a long test ride( 45 miles of ride!) the dealer was very confident I would buy!

well, I can say this, it runs nite and day better than my 06-2500 hemi, takes hills better, shifts better, rides smoother, and wind noise is a lot quieter in the cab, even with the big tow mirrors!
dis likes, the cab does seem cheaper!, the seats are cheaper, the metal on the truck, is thinner, and sounds cheaper!
the rear according to toyota guy, is a 10.5, so its on par with the dodge!, they claim gas milage to be 17 hy/13 town, and that if it gets it is better!
all the above was on a tundra with a 5.7, and a 4.30 rear, tow package.

all that said, I am guessing that cheapness is where the 10 grand comes into play.

I hate to say it, I am more confused now than ever!

it seems like it will do everything better than my 2500, for what I need to do!( I can buy a better seat for a grand, and have a great seat! if I feel the need, that saves me still 8+ grand!

but can I drive a toyota, after all the years of owning a dodge!!
I'm not sure.
ned more time!
whish dodge would up grade the drive train on its work trucks, and not just the outside!
hell offe a 6.1 in them as an option, after all its a heavy duty truck, why not offer the more powerful motor! in its heavy trucks!

glad I have time to decide!
