need help with headlight removal....mid-project!!

Default need help with headlight removal....mid-project!!

ive tried searching (before you flame me) but i cant figure out how to get the headlight assembly out! got the grille, two front bolts, and a bolt thru the fenderwell (???). Please help asap!! Trying to get these hid's in tonight!

nevermind...found a write up! Thanks lancelanz!! Not too many people lurking around on here this evening i suppose...feelin no love!!! lol!

There is no bolt through the fender. There is a flap in the inner fender. Open it and inside there will be a sliding part that hooks on to a post on the back of the light. It should slide down to release it. Then pull like hell and it will pop out.

Thanks!! There is a bolt....it just apparentley has nothing to do with the headlight lol!!

I think its the opposite...push up to unlock....down to lock. Did my HID's today too.

Could be, I did my headlights a while ago, I just remember I had no idea what the hell to do in there.

yes it is push up to unlock. if it was down, when you would hit a bump and gravity did it's thing, you would end up running over your headlight! lol
