Default Tailgate counterbalance

I would like make it easier to lift and close my tailgate on my '09 1500 Ram. I am chronologically challenged. It appears to use a torsion bar to assist in the closing.
I see a set screw on bar on the right side.
How do I go about increasing the tension?
Thanks,
Jack

I wasn't aware that you could adjust the tension. Compared to my last Ram the tailgate on my '09 is extremely easy to lift so I never even would have thought it needed any adjustment

x2...I admit that the tailgate is only slightly more unwieldy than my Dakota but its my elbow arthritis that forces me to bend down and lift the darn thing with my shoulder.

Perhaps this thread would be more appropriately placed on the AARP forum.
