2WD: Widest Rear Wheel/Tire Possible
Hey everyone,
I did a few searches on here with little luck. What's the widest rear wheel and tire combo I can run on a 2WD 4th Gen? There's plenty of info about tire widths with 4WD and lifted trucks. But, not so much for the 2WD.
I just ordered a 2010 R/T and of course one of the first things I want to do is change out the wheels and tires to make it my own. I'm really liking the looks of the Foose Legend or Nitrous. I'd like to run staggered width 22" set up. IDK, maybe 22x9 up front and 22x10.5 in back. But, while I've been home on R&R I've checked out the 4th Gens and I am shocked at how little clearance there is between the rear tire and the wheel well liner. I'm sure the liner can be trimmed, but IDK how much clearance there is behind the liner.
Any advice from the resident wheel and tire gurus would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
