Firestone Ride-Rite Bags
Yeah, I am in no way trying to say the Firestones are crap. I actually searched thru a number of sources for people having the issue and I think I only found two in the whole internet/forum community. One is a member here if memory serves.
It very well could be a reaction with chemicals used on/around farms for all I know since that's about all there is in the area of Ga I speak of.
I also know this guy was specifically installing the bellows type, 5k bags and not the inner coil types you guys are using.
I just thought I'd mention to you guys to keep an eye on them periodically, just in case...

I am about to put bags in my springs and was going to order the Air Lift 1000s. I didnt know you had to remove the spring to install them. If the Firestone and Air lift bags are equal quality Im going with the Firestones. Any input on this will be greatly appreciated.
The Airlift bags use to have a lifetime warranty only if you used their compressor system. Now there's no requirement for the warranty.
The Firestone's have always had a lifetime warranty regardless of the compressor.

i have the firestones too and i didnt remove the springs or the wheels. I have a hoist so i did all the work from underneath the truck!
I also had two holes just above my liscense plate (on the box, just under the tailgate) that i ran my air lines to. Pretty much hiden unless you get down to look at them.
and i pay $125 CDN
