Wanted: Opinions Granite Alloy GA6.5
Hey,
Once again I am soliciting opinions. However, this time not just looking for those with experience with the product. (Though, it would be a plus.) But, I'm looking for personal opinions as well. (Since it deals with wheels which are IMO the most significant visual mod.) I'd like to know what the target audience thinks. So here we go:
I have just placed my order for a black 2010 R/T. Since it is obviously a sport truck I've decided to go for 22" wheels. I was originally looking at the Foose Legends. However, I came to find out ol chippy boy doesn't offer them in our lug pattern. So, as I was searching around I found a wheel made by Granite Alloy that has a similar Torq Thrust kind of look to it. The bonus being that they are well under half the price of the Foose wheels. (See what a name can do for you?) I can get the wheels, a set of Yokos (my favorite), and the tire pressure sensors mounted, balanced and shipped for less than $2K. Best part they'll be here waiting for my truck to be delivered. Anyhow here they are:

Here's an add I found with a 4th gen wearing some very similar looking wheels:

So, let me hear your thoughts. Like I said personal opinions are very much welcome as this is not simply a technical matter. Anyone who has had some experience with Granite Alloy please post up. I know they aren't a very big brand name. But, I did talk to a guy from Tire Rack a few years back when I was looking a set of GA6.6's for my Chevy before I decided to go off road vice street style. Anyhow, he said that of course they are made over seas (of course Foose wheels are made in China) but that he had seen first hand that the finish and quality was far superior to some of the big name brands they sell like American Racing.
Ok, sorry for the novel. If you guys haven't guessed yet I'm a little on the verbose side. LOL. Thanks!

I like them. I too am looking for a rim that has the torque thrust look to it. These ones, the "blades" are a little wide in my opinion but overall, a nice look.
Have you checked ION wheels? They have a torque thrust knock off as well. Great finish on them unless you abuse them with salt and crap in the winter which it sounds like you won't be.

Thanks for the tip on the Ion wheels. They make a lot of nice looking knock offs. Only problem is no 22"
