I have the K&N set-up and it is awesome. I have no complaints about the system at all. The only thing I didn't like about the kit was, you have to cut the plastic tube (breather tube) from oil fill neck to old intake tube and replace it with a rubber hose (supplied) and they give you a zip strip to fasten it. I put a small hose clamp on. But when you get on it HOLY S---!!!! Sound is awesome and no BS you can feel yourself sink into the seat.

 

That XDI has three 90 degree bends. The AFE has two gentle bends before the throttlebody. The AFE should flow much better than the XDI and pick up cooler, cleaner air as well.
