Level kit: Help tracking down part number
I just got another email from another dealership, THEY HAVE IT!! $199 for the part don't know how much for the install but they have it. the dealership called it a 2'' level it kit hope thats the right one and the're not yankin my chain. so freakin sweet!!!
This kit is real, I got mine installed last tuesday and it is pretty awesome. Only issue is that superlift and Mopar have not figured out what to do about the rear setup. The kit I got only came with front spacers and the feeling I got from Superlift is that they are most likely to roll out new springs to compensate for the rear. The rep on the phone said that it most likely won't be till around late June or early July before everything is finalized. He also said that these kits are not technically supposed to be released yet, but I got mine through my dealer after he called someone at Mopar to confirm how to order. (the kit is supplier direct, so it ships directly from superlift).
Anyways, here are some pics. I didn't have a tape, so I used my blackberry to give you an idea of the difference in height. Rear does need about an inch to make it sit completely level, but in my opinion, it looks so much better with the front sitting up noticeably higher than stock.
Here are some pics for you to see the results.

Yep, it rides just as good as stock. In regards to the warranty question, my dealer is warrantying everything 100%. It's a mopar part ($200) and I paid them to install it ($250), so if anything goes wrong, it is covered under the bumper to bumper warranty.
frouburg great pictures thats what i wanted to see! i got a couple questions for you, 1. did the kit have anything for the rear springs? 2. and did you wait or did you go days without your truck when they installed the kit? 3. did they align the front after install? I got a quote for $160 install/ 2 hours im guessing longer than 2 hours for your job.
1. no, kit does not have anything for rear... yet. Superlift says that Mopar and them will have it figured out by June/July. Most likely they will be doing new springs, not spacers.
2. I dropped my truck off in the a.m. and picked it up around dinner time. (they also did an oil change the same day)
3. Yes, I requested that the front end be aligned.
4. 2/hrs sounds about right... the guys told me it took them 3.5, but i think that was b/c they included my alignment in the hourly charges.

thanks for the answers, my problem is the dealer that has the part is like 30 miles away my dealer is like 5 miles away. i would rather wait so i dont have to fight downtown construction (its BAD)! if it cost u $$ to have the alignment done i might wait after the install and get new tires at tire discounters they do the alignment for free. my buddy is swapping his 20's with my 17 crome clads cause he's in need of tires for the 20's and is willing to swap for my new clads and tires. I think thats a sweet deal.
got a question about my buddy's 20's off his 08. does anyone know if the 08 models 20's even fit? and does the 08 have low pressure sensors on the valve stems? and if they don't will it hurt the truck's computer if i run without them til i got new ones put on
I checked online and think the topguncustomz. I've heard people using their stuff and they are not as expensive as some of the others. They offer rear only kits for like $50 -$80 depending on the height. They have 3/4, 1, 1.5, and 2 inch rear kits. For a 2.5 front I think 1.5 in the rear may be the best match. To me it looked like the 3/4 sat a little high up front still, the 1 was about level (but maybe even front high....will vary truck to truck) so 1.5 seems a safe bet.
Oh, and an interesting note I found out. Laramie trucks equipped with AUTO 4x4 cannot be leveled....not sure if this correlates with the problem we all talk about.

AUTO 4 is an option on the Laramies. It is different than 4 Hi and 4 Low, when set on it will kick into more of an all wheel drive function. I had it on my old chevy and honestly it's pretty sweet. Apparently it seems lifts are not compatible with this system though.
