Ahh, I think you nailed it. The tank was completely full when I installed the kit and noticed the lean. Now it's under half full and seems to be sitting almost completely level. I can't imagine why Dodge wouldn't have addressed this when they sat down to engineer a new truck. Oh well, at least I know now that there's no problem with the kit or the way I installed it.

To try to answer your question, I think people put leveling kits on these new rams because they sit so low from the factory that an extra 2" allows room for 35" tires. It's also a lot more cost effective at $100 than a 4" kit that cost $2200....that's just my take on it though. I put a 2" lift on mine simply because I got tired of people asking if I bought a 2wd or 4wd because they sit like a 2wd right off the lot. At least it looks like 4wd now...even if it only looks like a factory 4wd from the other companies.

i have the same leaning problem front and rear.. ran the truck pretty close to empty and it still leans, not as much but its still there. I also found that rear passenger tire sticks out much further than the driver side. the dealer is blaming it on the rear spacers. saying since i raised the rear end the panhard rod is too short and is pulling the rear end toward the passenger side. Any ideas? Also after looking at the truck from behind im beginning to think the bed is out of alignment. Is there anyway to fix that? Shim the bed?

Technically they could be correct. Lifting the suspension will make your axle sit offset slightly. The panhard bar runs diagonally, so it effectively gets shorter as your suspension gets taller. It should be off by much though, I would think its no more than 1/2".

X2

Almost all the new trucks Ive seen lately are not completely level.

Is there anyway to correct this? I'm thinking maybe its a combination of the bed not being level And the panhard bar pulling the rearend toward the passenger side.. How can they fix the leaning bed? What can I do about the rearend?
