well, i just fig. it out. MI has 6% sales tax. i ended up getting $13k off sticker. so basically $27,500. +tax, title reg etc. gets me to just under $30k even..

i ended up getting a crappy rate. 6.9% for 6 years. so even if i ride the loan all the way to the end i will pay $6k in interest. so still saving $7k off sticker. im planning on paying it off before the 2 year mark or so. so i didnt take too much of a hit on the loan.....

Hi ThatMarkGuy,

I suck sometimes.

xoxoxo,
Life

I got mine for ~$36,000 after tax title etc, sticker was just under $41,000 when I bought it. $34k with all the rebates and whatnot, financed $30k @ 4% interest (it'll be paid off in 3 years, and I'm making almost double payments every month on it). Hoping to break into the 800s with this on my credit report...

What do you expect buying a brand new vehicle? As soon as you drive it off the lot you lose at least $5k in value. I bought my loaded sport with everything except heated seats used with 1500 miles on it. It was MSRP'ed at $48,000. I paid $26,000 for it off the lot. KBB says $39k. I can live with that.

I purchased an 08 F250 4x4 Crew Cab Lariat in 08 for 36000. The truck stickered for 51000. I just traded it in for a 2010 Crew cab 4x4 Hemi Sport and the Dodge dealer gave me 38300 for the Ford. I put 2500 worth of wheels and tires on the F250, so basically I drove it for 19 months for free!!! The Dodge dealer sold me the 2010 Ram that stickered for 41000 for 32000 and gave me $$$$$ for the Ford. Im crossing my fingers that I dont lose my but on the Dodge in a year or two.
