spray in bed liners
I've heard the Rhino is kinda more rubbery/sticky- so your stuff won't shift around so much. I think I'm going to go with Line-X because I heard it may be a bit more durable...?
Yes, it is, but that also means it's softer and less durable than the LineX. I tend to strap everything down anyway, because anything I put back there is likely to shift around no matter what bedliner you have if it's not strapped down. I just leave all my tie downs in the bed anyway so I don't forget them if I ever need them randomly, ie I'm out of the house and a friend calls me needing something or one time I had a friend wreck his bike and call me to come get him (my ramps are folded and strapped to the bed now as their permanent storage place).
I got the Linex xtra color matched to my truck (thrown in as part of the deal so I have no clue on price) but the Linex guy said they mix some of the same paint code used on the truck in the spray mix, which is sprayed hot so it goes into the tight spots better and is more uniform than the competition. When the first spray is done your paint is then mixed with dupont kevlar and sprayed over top of the first layer getting the color to match better and also providing the fade resistance. I too am a chicken and have a tonneau cover and hate to put anything in the bed but last year I did have wood in it and have a couple of surface scratches (just slightly duller than the rest of the liner). All in all I am very happy with mine. I have a sunburst orange ram and the color is pretty close. I tried to attach photos but I couldn't. not very puter smart.
