Default How much under MSRP for an order?

Hey all,

Because i can't seem to find the 1500 4x4 crew i am looking for, I am looking in to taking some great advice i got on here to order one.

The MSRP on my spec comes to 39,700. What do you guys think is the best i can do with an order after rebates. Also do the rebates change much from month to month with dodge?

I know we are almost to the end times for a 2010 order but i am not real impresed with quotes i am getting from local dealers here in SoCal.

I am at about $7500 under msrp but i see guys on here reporting up to 12K under msrp. Are they full of %#@**

As far as I know, today, April 26th, is THE last day to order a 2010. Better run.

Several dealers near me recently gave me offers like this: Invoice price - $2500 rebate - $1114 Hemi cost (invoice) - $500 = actual offer.

For instance, on a Sport I was pricing that had MSRP of 45545 and invoice of 41899 the deal would have been 37785.

I know this isn't as spectacular as some of the '$12K off MSRP' stories I've seen posted in the last year, but it seems pretty good when I compared it various places on-line that have 'what should I be paying' tools. Looks pretty consistent with your pricing. I think sales have picked up a bit and everyone thinks the economy is getting better, so the days of the monster deals are probably behind us.

Rebates change, every month or two a different vehicle is featured for sale for whatever reason. Pickups are on sale quite often, those 12000$ off is true and some got more, last year during the US bankruptcy of Chrysler deals were great. 44500 list on mine after employee discounts and other stuff before tax 32045 so everyone was getting employee price basically, I got a few extras too.

Where are you looking? I know Mac Haik in Georgetown/Round Rock Texas is advertising $12 K off MSRP all Crew Cab Lone Stars. No sure what had been added own to stickers but is was $12 off all Lone Stars.

When I bought last year it was pretty much 20% off MSRP when negotiating became serious. Some people who qualified for more discounts got over 25% of MSRP. I tried to keep mine within $700 of invoice for the truck that I wanted. It stickered at 41,500 and I paid $31,000 plus TTL.

If you can get to Texas you can always get a good deal on a truck. Look at Beorne Dodge and Meador Dodge in Fort Worth also.

Ordering might be a little more expensive since it is not on the lot accumilating financing costs, but most people that ordered got deals similar tothe ones above.

The prices for almost all vehicles dropped this year, the RAM depending on your options list dropped 1000 bucks in Canada anyway. They should drop more now since the money is par.
