UConnect works great with the G1 on tmobile with the droid op system but I can't get the phonebook to download. Shot in the dark here hoping somebody else has this phone but any ideas?

 

I have it connected to my iPhone but have never been able to download the phonebook either. It will recognize voice commands when I tell it to call _______ that is stored in my phone

Do you have the Android 2.1 OS on your phone? I just got a Nexus One and it asked in the notification bar if I wanted to grant access to the phonebook for uConnect. Works perfect... don't know if this would help but just thought it would be something to check....

 

I am stuck on Android 1.6. That Nexus one looks sweet, glad to know it works. Right now I have just been going into Uconnect and entering numbers one by one but that is a whipping.

 

I have a G1 with Rooted With Cryanogen Rom on it. (It's bass is 1.6). I got the phone book to upload 1 name and number the first time I tried it. But after that first time, now it keeps giving me errors when I try to upload others. I tried rebooting the phone and stuff but I haven't tried again in some time.

Just need to get a sexy woman (not my wife LOL) to record a new voice to the connection notification and I'm set!

EX: "Connected to (Insert sexy voice here)"
