Default Will bed extender work with tonneau cover?

exactly what the title says...does anyone know for sure if a bed extender will work with a tonneau cover installed. It kind of looks to me like you wont be able to flip the extender back and forth because it would hit the rails for the bed cover. Can anyone confirm that it will or will not clear. I want one to use when we get groceries and junk but I dont want to have to remove my bed cover just so i can flip it the other way to carry larger objects.

You are correct, the clamp on channels take up too much room and it will not flip.

ok....well will it at least fit in the bed with a tonneau cover on or does it sit too high for that too. I can live with taking the cover off in the summer to be able to flip it back and forth but i would like to keep the cover on in the winter and be able to use the extender flipped in to keep things from rolling to the front of the box.

What I have is a 2010 QC with an Access roll up soft cover and an older style extender from a 2008 Ram. I have plenty of clearance at the top but you should prob check your situation since it might be different.
