Yup dealer called me and said they couldn't find anything wrong so I went to pick it up. Went to get my keys and they said somebody would drive it around so I waited outside. I heard a honk. then a another, and another and another, etc, sure enough my truck came around the corner honking. I asked the old guy driving it if he was honking at me. He said he wasn't honking but the truck was. Funny as hell. So old guy got out and we left it running and went back in to service. At this time it stopped honking. For a bit.....
Then with the truck sitting there outside running while all the service guys where inside it started honking like crazy! Ending with the horn steady full on, for like 5 minutes! Of course when they found the electronics mechanic it stopped the minute he walked out the door to look at it. But he took it for a drive and it kept on honking like crazy. In the meantime I was directed to the lounge to wait and I could still here it honking back in the garage, People in the show room were asking who the hell is doing all that honking? LOL I'm not happy about having a problem but you have to admit, Funny stuff. You don't know how annoying a horn is until it's honking non stop. Anyway they said they think they have the problem narrowed down but I had to leave my unit there over night. Hope I get good news and get it back tomorrow all fixed up and no more people shooting me the bird cause I'm honking at them!

After a day and a half in the shop they found the problem. Faulty switch in the steering wheel. It's all fixed. Except I just found my tail light lens cracked and a hole broken through it with scrapes on it that go up and down. I should have done a good walk around when I picked it up because I'm sure it didn't happen in the last two days with where I've parked and the little amount of driving I did. If it did happen at the dealer there's no way I could prove it now. If the scrapes on the lens went left and right it could have been somebody parking to close and bumping in to me. But scrapes up and down makes me think it must have happened in a garage when it was on a lift or close to another lift. It was the passenger side that I don't see all the time and my buddy pointed it out to me last night.
Guess I'll just buy a new lens and be more carefull checking things out when going in for service.

Mine started doing this a couple months ago. Of course it happened when I had a client in my truck with me! I jumped out and unplugged the driver's side horn and it stopped. Hasn't done it since.

Now I have a turn signal that lost it's ground and started acting funny. I noticed it starting to dim about the same time I started having horn issues. Wondering if they're related. My A/C condenser fan also stopped working a few weeks ago. All kinds of gremlins!!

The passenger side horn hasn't ever honked on it's own that I know of. I just added a ground to the passenger side turn signal plug and that fixed my turn signal problem. From what I can tell, they're both tied into the same ground so maybe it'll fix both. I plugged it back in so we'll see.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but figured it might help someone else later on.
