But then customer service gets involved and .....LOL see what I mean.
You had a bad time with them maybe it was your attitude that day maybe whoever you talked to was an idiot. I have had it both ways, me sportin a tude I have learned lately does not get me anywhere, especially riding in a wheelchair. You become the ahole in the chair. Pain, boredom take over what can I say. We all have our reasons.
I think the guys advice was wrong just by the instructions, I am gonna try it my way first. 99 percent track record of being right. I have their number I also got a square trade guarantee on it for 3 years. Man they give you way too much wiring with this thing. Gonna see it work then shorten them up to fit correct.
No tude on my part, as you put it. I had a technical problem, they didn't know how to solve it, demonstrated zero competency that they could solve it, strung me along whenever I asked for a refund saying that they were working on it. This went on for months. Finally a year later they gave me my money back. I had to call, leave messages, would not get called back, called and left more messages. When I did get a hold of somebody, they would then say that the person I needed to talk to wasn't in the office and that they would call me back but wouldn't. Went through that several times until the person I needed to talk to actually answered the phone one time. So, your assumption that I had some sort of attitude problem is not correct. You are dealing with incompetent people compared to the competition. I write this to hopefully warn people who might be thinking of giving them their business, not to pointlessly gripe and complain.

I capeesh but why wouldn't you just call Chrysler Customer Service. When a dealer charged me for something they could not starscan. I paid it, then called Customer Service they sent me a cheque withing a week. I believe they charged the dealer too because I no longer get any correspondence from them not for oil changes, not sales, nothing. Well I believe some of the dealers have gotten the word from big brother ChrslerLLC to shape up in the service area or ship out. I notice no lines, easy to get appt. sometimes same day. I asked is it just less sales, they said not less people having qu ality issues. So that is good news, they don't just sell trucks so a large dealership with an empty service reception by noon is good. Makes me feel a little bit warm and fuzzier
