Default ipod 16 pin connector doesn't work

Hi,
sorry for the bad english but i'am a dutch Belgian.

I just received my new dodge ram 5.7 quad cab.
I love my ipod so i was very glad to see and read that i can just hook him up with a 16 pin connector. I connected my ipod with the delivered cable, but i doesn't show up on the screen. The ipod displays u-connect, but i don't see him on the touchscreen.
Does someone has the same problem? How can i solve this?
We don't have Dodge Ram dealers here, so they all are imported from the USA. I can't ask it at a dealer because they dont sell Ram.

Thanks!

David

Try installing the newest software on your MyGIG radio.
The info/software on http://mofv.com/mygig/ should get you going in the right direction.
