CD stuck in RER Nav radio
Went to pick up some food last night and was listening to a MP3 CD on the way there. After starting the truck to head home, the disc would not start playing again. I tried ejecting it; the screen will tilt down but the disc will not eject. Tried powering the unit off/on and it's still stuck.
Anyone had this happen? All other listening modes (Sirius, HDD, etc) still work great, but it just won't let me have that disc back!
Thanks!
BTW, it's running the new 2.043 firmware update.

im gonna have to try that, happens to my RER all the time...must be something to do with the blue and beige trucks haha
Do you have labels on these? The cd's heat up and glue releases and messes your radio up. The dealer will only fix you up once on home made cd's plead I did not know cuz it is in the manual or at least it was in my Durango so I assume they still don't condone it. I would read the manual and find out but I have already pissed people off in another thread I made...about the Fuel Saver light.
Thanks for the replies. Right after I posted this thread, I went out to the truck and the CD ejected without a problem (of course). Apparently it just needed to think about it overnight.
The CD didn't have any labels (or even any writing on it) but it was a disc I burned myself.
The unit has been a bit flaky since I updated the firmware (from http://mofv.com/mygig/). Satellite radio now takes about twice as long to acquire signal and it also seems more sensitive to overhead objects that interfere with the reception (trees, overpasses, etc.) so this CD problem might just be another quirk. Fortunately I rarely use the drive.
