just trying it in Vancouver by voice command and it is not finding malls when I say them by name, is the NAV gps supposed to be able to find location by name in Vancouver area?

I don't have the factory nav system. My thoughts are if the area is in the gps database, then yes. If not, the database needs to be updated to cover Canada.

Dudes, I'm in a small city in the Arctic and it finds everything just fine. Don't know why it won't work right in Van,BC.

Come on what if I wanna take a drive to another country , yes it should have Vancouver no matter where you bought it. It might just need an update. Check what version you have now and find out what the updated version is. Simple stuff.

I agree with above....must just need an update. I have a friend with the Nav and it works perfectly fine here in SW Ontario.
