Sorry it's been a long time, but I did finally go out and try what you suggested as far as just hand putting in my most called numbers into the Uconnect. It didn't work. When I say phone book it immediately says "you nave no contacts in your phone book" and that is that. I've tried saying new entry and everything, it doesn't allow it. So if there is a way to manually add numbers to a storage there with a name so that I can just say "call so and so" I can't figure it out.

 

It doesn't work. You said that the Uconnect holds up to 32 numbers and I can manually add them by saying phone book, then saying new name (entry). I tried. Only thing it says after I say phone book is "there are no contacts in your phone book" and that is that. I tried saying new number, new name, new entry, it says it doesn't recognize what I am saying.

 

You may have a different radio than what I'm used to. Those steps work with the RES, REQ, RBZ & RHB radios. Do you know what model radio you have? There should be a 3 digit code on the lower right corner of the radio faceplate. That'll be the model.
