Default Lifted Ram 1500 4x4 Gas Mileage, Tire size

I am installing a BDS 6" Suspension lift on my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport this Memorial Day weekend. I was going to order the 37x12.50R20 Nitto Trail Grappler's but am concerned about gas mileage and performance with the 37's.

My previous truck had 35x12.50R20 tires and I know the gas mileage left a little to be desired.

I'll come back and update my thread, but I would like to know the following.

What brand lift you have?
Inches of lift?
What tires?
What gears?
Stock or aftermarket rims?
Gas mileage?
Percentage City/Hwy.

I know their is already a mileage thread but didn't see any lifted trucks with tire sizes listed. Hope some people will participate.

I'd like to get my tires this week, instead of rolling the stockers. I can mount and balance either set, but my balancer will not handle the 37 under the hood.

I have a 4" lift, 35x12.5 tires, 20" REV wheels, 3.92s.

If I am on I-95, doing 75mph, I get about 14.5mpg.

Driving 17 (Georgia thru SC into NC), keeping it around 55-60, I can pull 17. I don't have a MDS light, so I have no idea if it ever kicks in.

My daily commute is about 1.5 miles (I live on base) and I rarely leave the base in my truck. I get about 12mpg doing this. The speed limit on base is 35 most of the way, but I like to get to 35 REALLY quick!

i have the 6" BDS lift with the 37" Nitto Trail Grapplers. im running 20" RBP rims. 3:55 gears. i am running anywhere between 12.5 and 13.0 for MPG. i would say it is half and half as far as city and highway.

That's exactly what I want to hear

I'm getting 19+ highway and 15.5-16.1 city depending on traffic/driving style.

14 city would not be bad at all and I could live with 17 highway.

My 2007 got 11.9ish city and if you drove 60 on the highway you could pull upwards of 15.

yea, my driving style around town is a little bit down. i have a flowmaster dual exhaust, K&N cold air intake and a bullydog GT programmer on it. im sittin around 455 HP right now.... you just cant go slow lol. i had stock 20's, but im old school and like bigger tires instead of bigger wheels, so i downgraded to 18's. not only does it look better, its cheaper too! i dont need big ol flashy wheels while goin on the trails or mud. ill try to get a picture up soon

I was planning on having my lift done today, but my truck was in the body shop with Dodge until late Friday so I didn't get started. It had to go back last week for them to "fix" some more factory paint defects. I also wanted them to thoroughly go over everything and check everything out before the lift.

I'm looking forward to putting her up there. I miss the height of my last truck, driving mine around stock.

I don't think you can link from facebook. Right click the picture and save it and then upload it on flickr or another photo hosting service. Freeimagehosting.net used to be decent.

I used a paid photo hosting server now.
