What year did they starting putting the "smart" Hemi in the Rams? Meaning the Hemi that will gear down at cruising speed?

2006 was the first year for MDS in the 15000 Ram

The 09-10 version gets about 1-2 MPG more than previous years, due to improved valve timing. Just my 2 cents.
