This is very helpful! Could you please do me a favor? I understand M20224 is the number stamped on the spacer. Could you also let me know the part number on the box? It will probably start with something like KC09... Also, if you haven't installed them yet, could you please measure how tall they are by setting them on a table and simply placing a tape measure against it? Thanks again!

Dang. Bad timing on my part. Do you still have the box with the model number on it? How do you like the stance of your truck now? How many inches of clearance do you have between your tire and the top of the fender at the front tires, and back?

Okay everyone... Some real corrections need to be made to this information found on page 3 of this thread. Unfortunately the misinformation here caused me to purchase the wrong products, and spend over a month verifying information from Daystar. In the end, I have two kits in front of me right now (KC09100BK, and KC09103BK,) and will correct the information below. Corrections are in RED.

Daystar 1.5" Spacer (KC09103BK)
Total length - 1.5" Total is actually 2.5"
Minus spring seat - 1"
Seat to Seat - .5" Seat to seat is 1.5"
Total Lift acheived - ~3/4-1" My research shows this kit will achieve 1.5"-2" of lift.

Daystar 2" Level Kit (KC09100BK)
Total Length - 2.5" Total is 3"
Minus spring seat - 1"
Seat to Seat - 1.5" 2"
Total Lift acheived - ?? TBA Suspension geometry should yield 2.5 to 3.5 inches. This kit is actually the one referenced to at the bottom of this list. The comment below on the last kit where someone had over-extension issues is the best information for KC09100BK on this forum. Here's a link to someone at Ramforumz who installed this kit with longer shocks and is not having issues.

http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=94571

ProComp 2" Level Kit (For Chevy 2wd, works for RAM 1500)
Total Length - 2"
Minus Spring Seat - 1"
Seat to Seat - 1"
Total Lift acheived - 2" I am unfamiliar with this kit and cannot comment.

Daystar? 2" Level Kit (Tallest, unknown part #)
Total Length - 3"
Minus Spring Seat - 1"
Seat to Seat - 2"
Total Lift Acheived - ~4" (too much lift, bottomed out suspension)

This kit should be removed entirely. It is a second reference to KC09100BK shown above.

I plan to install the KC09103BK kit on my truck since I can use my stock shocks. It seems the KC09100BK requires shocks. That is what the Daystar rep told me. Also, the guy who is running that kit with no issues has longer shocks, so that backs up that fact.

Now, to resell my unused KC09100BK kit...

Good luck everyone!

It wasn't "misinformation" that made you order the wrong thing. It's daystar's inconsistency. You have "corrected" the information that i posted when it wasn't incorrect to begin with. Ever wonder why some people that install these kits are getting desirable results and some aren't? They are getting different ****! And by the way, I'd be glad to send you the 9100bk kit that i received and you can measure it yourself, since Im obviously incompetent with a tape measure. I appreciate that you're trying to keep everyone informed but please dont act like everyone else is an idiot.

EDIT: Just to elaborate...The specs I listed were accurate to what I received. I even took photos of the spacer next to a measuring tape...hard to dispute that. I still have the spacers that came in the box labeled KC09103BK. I can check them if you'd like to see if there's a model number stamped on the spacer. I believe what we were dealing with a year ago was a company that hadn't quite gotten their $h!t together on the 4th gen's yet. Hopefully it is straight now and the information that you are providing is correct.

Before you get too excited and re-direct your anger at me, try and be upset with the grief you and I both went through. Please re-read my unedited post. I never suggested anyone was incompetent. Just that there is a bunch of conflicting information out there, and this thread is part of that. Your idea of getting your spacers out and checking the stamp on them is a GREAT idea. Please do it and compare to the information below.

Here is the information straight from Daystar:

KC09100BK
Has "M03210" molded into the top.
3" tall with a 1" spring seat.
Requires longer shocks. Daystar shocks are part # KU01004.

KC09103BK
Has "M20224" molded into the top.
2.5" tall with a 1" spring seat.
Does not require longer shocks.

I have both boxes in front of me right now with spacers inside that match this information. I recomend anyone considering purchasing one of these kits to email Daystar yourself and verify this information. The Daystar tech guy that gave me this information is Don McMillan.

Good Luck.

Anyone have problems with this kit? I just put in an order for the Daystar kit the other day. I plan on getting it installed and then adding 33" tires.

Sweet. What size tires did you end up going with? I've read a few people say they were going to try 35" with this level kit, but never saw a follow-up on how bad the rubbing was. I spoke with an installer yesterday and he recommended 33"s at most.
