Hard time starting
Well today after eating lunch at my house I go to head out and my truck won't start, so I break out the manual and try to find out if there is anything inside for this problem. After fliping thru the pages for about two or three minutes I decide to try one more time and bam she starts right up but the check engine light is on. So I take it to the dealer after work and they only had a service advisor all the techs went home for the day and he hooks up the code reader goes back to his CPU and comes back and tells me to either leave the truck there and find a ride home or bring it back in the morning cause it seems that the trucks CPU has lost a connection with one of the engine modules.... Has anybody else experienced this or heard of this? I forgot to ask what code came up so I can check for it on line.
Truck is a 2009 5.7 2WD and just hit a year old and there is only 10,000 miles in case that has anything to do with it.
Thanks in advance

Sking - I'm in Cali and sorry wishful thinking its a 5.7
jhedger - Its 20% tint in the front only back is factory
As for the no starting problem apparently they said that the TIPM lost communications with several modules and that there was a flash for it that my truck had yet to receive. They said that the TIPM wouldn't wake up to start do to several codes from multiple modules...Sorry I couldn't give you guys a specific code this was all told to me by a service advisor. I guess you just need to make sure that your truck is up to date on all the latest flashes for your TIPM and PCM is what it sounds like to me.
