My best 0-60 is a 5.33
I think he is faster also, aside from a K&N drop in I am all stock with the exact same 4x4 truck. The latest tune on my SC programmer has logged me a 13.6 quarter and its consistant. Don't know how to correct for the 0 - 60 though so I have no idea what mine is. The tuner really makes a nice difference in my opinion, worth every penny (s).Originally Posted by socaliallstar82
You should be faster than a 5.8. I'd imagine you'd be low 5's 0-60 shouldn't you? Is the 4x4 that much heavier than a 2x4? Or are you just going off the SC times? I bet your faster than you think.Try this site out, it's probably a little more accurate than your handheld.

Your 13.6 run would put you at around 8.7 in the 1/8 Which is About a 5.1-5.2 0-60 based on your SC. Although it is consistant, I bet it's not that accurate. May be a tenth or two slower. But that still puts you in the 13's easily. Best way is to get to a track and gets some real times.

Coming from a modded diesel, you'll be disappointed with anything less than force induction on a gas motor. The combination of exhaust, intake, & tune may give 50 Hp where you more than likely will get 100+ in a diesel.
I added 40hp and 140lb/ft with a Quad tow box on my '06 Cummins and you could really tell it. I had 37s on it with the stock 3.73s and could hang with a Charger SRT-8 to 60 if I spooled up before take off. I won't lie, I also had an open air filter and lost the muffler somewhere but the truck would leave this one for dead around town. On the interstate would be a different story unless towing.

You are correct, the track is the official word. My actual times could be a tad slower or faster but they are likely within a few tenths as you indicated. My point however is that since 94rt10ohio has the same truck and the same tuner logging the data, we have a close baseline to compare. His times should be faster than mine because he has intake and exhaust mods that I don’t. I seriously doubt I am in the low 5’s for 0 to 60 being a 4x4, mid to 5.7 or so maybe. My results suffer from the inherent inaccuracies such as may exist in the SC logger in addition to the correction calculations from being at 7000 feet. In July a few of us are going “down” to Pueblo at 4500 feet to run the track there and then I will have a time slip. Thanks to the tuner I have really improved my launch, something I didn’t want to have to learn at the track.

7000 feet geeze. And I thought the DA in Fontana was bad. Truck performance is always going to vary truck to truck regardless of mods. I'm running 13.9 corrected with light mods and a tune and there are other rcsb tundras runnng faster than me stock. Yo just never know when you drive off the dealership lot what your getting. Sometimes you luck out with a factory freak.
There are actually a few double cab tundra guys running 14.2 stock when the norm is 14.6-14.8. I bet you ram guys are gonna see some of that too.
