Default line-X bumpers

alright so im tired of looking at the rust specks that i've picked up in the 5 months that i've had my truck. so, i thought line-X might work, I called. for the front surface of the bumper $150 and if i take the bumper off and they do both sides $300. what do you think? black bumpers instead of rusty grey. i dont think it would look bad if i matched the bumpers with black rims. Opinions please. forgot to mention, the bumpers will never rust!

They have a coating that costs a little extra to prevent fading and they can supposedly also apply something to faded line-x to restore it as well.

yes, its called line-x xtra. makes it like 6 times as hard as kevlar and it wont fade. i am going to get the bed done when i get caught up on everything else. the bumpers sound pretty badass. if you end up doing it, make sure to take some good pics and post them. cant wait to see how it looks.

ya i heard they color match for a pretty penny i'm sure, what i've thought is get the front side done by line -x then do the back side in herciliner nobody sees the backside of a bumper. i wonder if they can do the plastic piece that is above the bumper? i heard that its difficult to do cause it has a mold release compound built in the mold so paint wont stick.
