Also these trucks have posi or what cuz my one wheel peel would not do that , it might just spin going up the hill but even that would be quickly stopped by the lovely grinding noise of the ESP BAS kicking it right away. Maybe your truck is broken. But also I agree with PXTYSON on driving a pickup. A whole nuther animal.

A few months back my ESP didn't kick in either. I stepped on it to get across an intersection and it took off smoking tires and the rear tried to come around on me. I let off to straighten it out then stepped on it again and it started smoking tires again. It scared me pretty good as I was expecting torque control and esp to kick in like it normally does. Truck has only done this once. Don't get me wrong I do like turning off ESP and playing around once in awhile but I still haven't got it to act the way it did that morning.

I would love it to happen that is fun. I am always waiting for these tires to break free, I think my hand controls don't let a full on WOT unless you jam it with your foot.

After thinking about this, I'd like to point out that you should never rely on stability control to save you.

Drive as if the car doesn't have any sort of assist and be ready for anything.

In the chance you screw up, the truck might save you. But if you drive around like a nut and expect ESP to keep everything inline, you're bound to end up in a bad situation.

LOL - if both wheels are spinning due to lack of traction, an lsd isn't going to make any difference.

Oh, but there's always traction with an LSD. Don't you read the other threads, it's the answer to all issues.

Still wondering how bad the damage looks.

a lighter foot on the gas pedal would have prevented this accident
