Is this something you guys are using on just your exterior plastic? I passed it in the auto store and just saw something about being able to use it on rubber/plastic..Is it good for the whole truck? Are you using anything before or after? THanks

Yes you can use it all over the truck, this is one of the best products ive come across and the price is great also. Just spray an area and then wipe off, easy to use as well. I saw this thread and tried the product and was glad I did lol

No better than Armorall, and messy as hell to use. I haven`t found anything yet for the interior I do like, but Im still looking. I paid for the paint protection package and it provides the polymer coating free for the life of the truck so I will use that and only that twice a year. It is super slick and dirt wipes right off.
Try 303 Aerospace.

alright, I went out and got this and it works great! Very pleased with the outcome. It says you can use in direct sunlight but it seems to be a little easier to get off in the shade.

That is the one I used. Do the claybar first if you need it, don't get carried away with the clay bar, I have seen people "burn thru" like on a bend or body line. Just read the instructions and keep it wet. I use the paste Ice and also the liquid. The spray is a kind of a update, like putting pledge on it...not a few month solution.Keep you shiney till next wash.
I would say the paste and the liquid work pretty much the same. The spray is like I said like you would take to a show to shine it up just before judging.

With Ice it makes it so much easier and on a black truck looks great. In my personal opinion I think it is a step better and as I mentioned in another post, I don't have to be careful putting it on around rubber and vinyl because it shines that up too.
Sounds like you need to invest about $40 at your local hardware store and build your own inline water filtration system. It's not hard, but it will remove all the calcium and other minerals that leave those spots.

Starting on Friday night, we took an 09 SRT-8 Challenger- River_Booty's and fully detailed it using a couple of turtle wax's systems.

Started with a meguiar's clay bar system
Then washed with Turtle Wax Ice wash
Then used Turtle Wax BLACK- This is a must for black vehicles! I have yet to see such a deep shine put in a car as I did with this one.
Once at the show, we used meguiar's "Claifornia Shine" to finish

I have done it on that very same 2008 Avie about a week ago. It did just fine that way. Really, the detail spray is just there to keep the clay from scratching the paint itself. "Lubrication"

We picked it up at Oreilly's.

Everything that was used on that car:

Invisible Glass
Turtle Wax ICE wash
Turtle Wax Black Wax system
Meguiar's California Shine
Meguiar's Clay system
Nu Finish
Dawn Dish Soap

Already have a line filter, but junk still gets through. Thinking about trying 2 inline filters to see if it is better. We are pretty high on the hardness scale.

The big problem is with all the irrigation systems everywhere around here you have to watch which way the wind blows, park in the wrong spot, disaster.
