I assume you want to be able to control your Ipod through the radio controls? So you have to add the UConnect module and then the cable. You need the kit for the REN radio. They are basically the same radios, different manf and a few different button locations. Your parts guy has a number he can call in Detroit to confirm this.

If you search, you can see the part numbers needed for the REN radio.

 

My REN with Mopar Uconnect complete is on Ebay, was selling in her for 650 for REN +RSC and the mopar module wiring and mic but deal is gone. That kit alone was 257 US plus shipping I bought it in Canada cost me much more.. Most of the radios coming from reputable sources like mine see the 100percent are going for over 600 for just the REN with sat no uconnect.
I should have my Nav unit ready but now I ordered that cable for the IPOD..another 130 bucks shipped. But that is added to my Nav order...that I got for a good deal but then you have to buy a mic and gps antenna ipod cable and starscanning blah blah I have a feeling this will suck since its 200 a year to upgrade the maps and you have to have the radio in your TIPM since they send a code that has to match...so you can't just upgrade from your neighbours cd. Money grab. I am hoping since my radio is build 2010 it will have latest maps.

 

I just gota REN on EBay for 250, now I wonder about the deal. Upgrading from standard RES. I have a few ? I hiope some can answer. I have the auto dim mirror rthat appears to have mike or connector for it, how do I rtell. Also I would like to know which unconnect module and Ipod Harness I need. This is a 2010 1500 big horn

You don't have to upgrade your NAV every year - every 5 years is plenty fast enuf!

I've been using GPS for a very long time - stuff just doesn't change that much, and the updates are already a couple years out of date when they happen.
