Mygig 430 RBZ
I just ordered a Mygig RBZ unit that replaces the REN, does anyone else have one of these? I was just wondering what changes were made if any at all. I do know the button layout has changed.
It is supposed to be a higher quality unit at least that is what I have been told.
REN will probably be easier to update with easy access to the updates, I think Mitsubishi electronics is building the new model.
Scored it brand new for 550.00

I've got one in my 09 also. The only issue I had was when trying to activate the backup camera, they had to use the REN code for the radio due to the RBZ not being in the system for 09. But other than that, it works great. Hopefully they fixed the issue that the REN had with disconnecting the battery without removing the fuse and blowing the radio. One of the reasons I went with the RBZ since it is the updated version made by Mitsubishi instead of Harmond Becker.
If you already had an REN radio, why would you replace it with an RBZ? The RBZ doesn't have Sirius. Not that the radio channels are worth anything (other than ch 99
), but the main thing is, the traffic information in the navigation view comes over satellite in the REN. No Sirius=no traffic. No big deal if you live in a no-traffic place, but they're getting fewer and fewer, and in Metro Atlanta, it's saved me hours of frustration.

And I don't think anyone said they replaced their REN with a RBZ. Just that the RBZ is the new replacement radio for the REN.
