Default ProComp stage 1 6"lift kit install?

I was wondering if anyone has installed this kit themselves on a 2009 ram 1500 4x4?
If so is it to hard for 2 people to tackle?

nothing is to hard as long as you have the proper tools and instructions....but again i know my own limits

id say simple tools and a lift would be the best to have, i wouldn't even try with just a jack and wood blocks

another thing is how far is the shop that does wheel alignment because you will need one

You don't need any special tools but a spring compressor will help with reinstalling the rear coil springs and you will need something to cut the crossmember pocket off the frame. It took me about 8 hours to do by myself but that was with a hoist and air tools

The t case part is really easy. You will already have both driveshafts removed. Place a jack and a 2x4 below the transmission pan, unbolt the trans crossmember and transmission mount (you'll be replacing the mount later) lower the jack so you can get access to the top nuts of the t case (a flex head gear wrench or a stubby gear wrench will be handy here), unplug the connectors and wire harness anchours from the t-case, remove the breather hose from the t case, there are 6 nuts that hold the t case to the trans, with your buddy remove the t case from the trans, if you can plug the rear driveshaft output seal on the t case or ziptie a plastic bag around it (you'll lose fluid when you lower the t case), remove the transmission output seal from the back of the trans, take the extended seal adapter and put a bit of silicone around the base that will be installed in the trans, carefully install it into the trans, both pieces are aluminum and are fairly soft, use a rubber mallet or plastic deadblow hammer, remove the 6 studs from the t case, install the t case index ring to the t case with the supplied allen bolts, reinstall the t casse with your buddy, jack the trans back up and install the dropped transmission mount from the kit and the transmission crossmember

Looking forward to more pics. That looks really nice, especially with the fender flares. Agree about the spacers--it'll look even better when it's level. Nice work!

I love the look of a white lifted truck. Agree about the spacers. That is the first thing I saw when I looked at the picture.

Your truck realy looks great!!
I have a 6" BDS with the 2" Revtek spacers on the front.Mine still sets 2" taller in the rear.I like the way it looks though .I might be putting a 3" body lift on it soon.

is it just the same as the level kits or?
