of course the dodge rep said that, he is representing the company that wants you to screw up your warranty so they won't have to cover your lifetime powertrain...jk
I just had mine done at 33,000 and they looked slightly worn. The dealer charged me 281.00 plus tax, includes labor and material. The truck does seem to be more responsive after the change.
Going to another plug won't hurt warranty.Only IF a piece of the plug broke off and damaged a piston or what not.But even a replacement plug of the same kind that come out would affect warranty if he did that. I was 30 odd years in the repair end with dealers.I NEVER meant a REP with that kind of attitude.I met a few that were not nice but none that wished that on any body .

You don't get it. Check your maint. schedule. It says to replace plugs at 30,000 miles. Go ahead and put a 100,000 mile plug in. I bet your warranty goes up in smoke if you have trouble and cannot prove you followed the maint. schedule.
My dealer quoted me almost $300.00 for the plugs. Geez that is robbery!!!!!!!!!
I checked mine a 30,000 was good. Replaced them at 40,000 with a plat. plug [ not dbl plat] I'll check them at 70,000 again .
No problems not running that copper plug!!!
Yep book says 30k using a STANDARD plug.Warranty will be fine using a long life as long as they don't cause a hole a piston or size in the head etc. Most everything being made EXCEPT these trucks use/come with a 100k plug this day and age.
