Default Mygig Rbz software

For everyone that has a MYGIG RBZ unit would you mind posting what software version your unit is running? I guess there is an update that jumps from 06.xx.xx to 08.xx.xx I am calling the dealer and trying to find out about getting an update. If anyone has any info pls share.

Hopefully it provides a better interface for dealing with playlists from the HDD. I'm sick of having all that music sitting there and the only way to play it is sequentially or random. Yes, I know you can do 'playlists' by organizing in folders, but that is stupid.

Whats really stupid is you can not delete individual songs, it's all or none! (at least on mine)

Go under 'manage playlists' and you can individually delete songs. Took me a while to find it.

I'm running the following system details

Application: 08.03.02
Audio CPU: 021210
Gracenote: 4BB
System: 0101

I never used to have the issue with playlists being sorted alphabetically (although browsing by artists & songs were)

Since I took my Jeep in for it's first service I now have this problem. I bought the RBZ on ebay and didn't check the version numbers prior to the service so don't know if they up/downgraded the software during it's service.

Would like to know if anyone is running a more recent version so I can track down an update to get this resolved. I asked my dealer for the upgrade software while I was there and they didn't have the disk for the RBZ. Not sure if it somehow got done without the disk, maybe via the can bus while being serviced?

I have an unanswered thread on the jeep forum here
