This is the first time this has ever happened. The truck has 14k on it. I haven't noticed any oil lose. It's always at the same level. I might try to get that gasoline additive to clean it up. A guy at work uses it and his exhaust pipe looks brand new on the inside. I have to use an additive on all my diesels. I guess I'll just keep my eye on it.
Are you out of warranty on the drivetrain already, don't start adding crap to your oil that will not help your mds, not supposed to put additives in these engines. You have 3 years or 36000 miles if in Canada and if you have an 09 and you are in the US you have lifetime so take it to the dealer and tell them to fix it. Don't play with it you will become liable.
