That's why I didn't leave it on long when I sprayed it. It's pretty potent, but as long as the paint is wet and the vehicle is cool so that it doesn't try into a film quickly, I don't see there being a problem. That said, use it at your own risk...I'm not an expert.

I would bet that it WILL take the wax right off your paint and you'll have to rewax. Not that big of a deal if you have the time to do it, but for those of us who don't have the time, it would be a pain.

Even that bug off from Turtle wax will remove the wax a little.

In case you were wondering, one of the best ways to remove the wax on your paint is to wash the truck in Dawn Dish soap.

A tip I learned this week. If you're going on a trip spray pledge on the front of the vehicle. when you get where you're going the bugs just wipe right off.

I use pledge on my bike all the time, it takes the bugs right off and it does not bother the finish at all, as a matter of fact I usually do my whole bike with pledge, goes on and comes off super easy.

I heard to use Pam cooking spray, but pledge sounds a lot less 'yucky'.
