I just got a call back from the service department where I purchased my truck and they were way more relaxed about the body lift. In fact he seem to think I would have more warranty issues with a suspension lift then I would with the body lift. He said exactly what I wanted to hear which was any part that fails due to the modifications made is really on my shoulders and may not be covered by the warranty. I know any modification i make there is a risk of this.

He seem to think that the guy I spoke with at the other dealership was over reacting and being a bit over cautious. I mean after all im not the first person to ever put a body lift on a truck with a warranty.

So I do have 2 questions if anyone can help.

How do they raise the body without putting stress/tension on the wiring harnesses or will they be affected?

By raising the body the radiator will be raised 3" above the fan, will this affect anything? This site says that there will be no adverse affects to the cooling. http://www.sporttruck.com/techarticl.../photo_10.html

However if there is im screwed as far as my warranty is concerned.

Talk me off the ledge guys. Little nervous now. Less nervous since talking to the dealer who seem to think I was good to go, but still a little nervious.

I say he is BS.Yes they would have to prove that your body lift caused whatever issue you have.Same with any lift/tires.So you will be fine.Your right sounds like to me he just hates body lifts.

I would buy a real lift.
With the new gen rams the gap is covered from a body lift by the stock rear inner fender wells. you cant even tell you have a body lift. plus the new rams the frame doesnt hang down near as far as other trucks so with a body lift it just looks normal.

Ya your right and you can't tell this white truck even has a body lift on it.She looks badass and it has 11" of lift on her.I am going to do the same thing to mine I think.I already have 8" of lift.

Well today is supposed to be the day, but it looks like things will be postponed for just a little bit.

Thanks to the pic posted by BigHorn of the awesome white truck in this thread I changed my wheel order. I saw those wheels up close and I liked them so much better then the XD Badlands that I had ordered.

So now I am just waiting for MHT to make a set and ship them out. They said they were on the cnc machine on Wed and would not be shipped out for a week and a half. No one online or locally has them in stock so I have to wait. I think it will be worth the wait.

BigHorn, Thank you. My truck is gonna look way better thanks to you.

Anytime bro just trying to help .

I am putting Bilstein adjustable struts on my truck in a few months to level my truck all the way out.It is 2" difference from the rear to the front. So after I do this it will have a 10" lift on it.I was looking at my cv's and axles they are streight as can be just like it was stock. So lifting it 2" more on the front wont hurt a thing.

I can't wait to see pics of your truck after it is done.

Alright guys, its done. I could not be happier with how everything has turned out. Looks awesome, height is perfect and the ride is still great. Best part is that it still fits in my garage.

This kit works really well and looks really good on this truck. (IMO) The rear fender wells cover everything up in the back and the front gap guards cover every thing in the front.

My brother in law was visiting from CA and he works for a performance truck shop and installs body and suspension lifts all the time. It did not take him too long to figure it out but he did have to crawl under the truck to even see that it had a body lift.

Whoo hoo, I finally get to list some mods

2009 Dodge Ram
Performance accessories 3" Body lift
1.5" Day Star Leveling Kit
35x12.5 ProComp Xtreme AT tires
20x9 -12 offset MHT Fuel Hostage Wheels
Procomp Accu Pro Speedometer & Odometer Calibrator

Here are some pics
