4th Gen Ram Tech2009 - 2018 Rams and the 2019 Ram Classic: This section is for TECHNICAL discussions only, that involve the 2009 - 2018 Rams and the 2019 Ram Classic. For any non-tech discussions, please direct your attention to the "General discussion/NON-tech" sub sections.
Yeah, having one forum section for everything specific to 4th Gen like it has been is great. Don't start trying to split things out or it will become a pain in the butt.
Please don't start splitting this up, its so nice to have everything in one so I don't have to go through different sections everytime I check this forum. This forum is slow enough. If you want to find something then search it.
I only check the 4th gen, so post away in the general and I won't check it. LOL
My bookmark takes me straight to the 4th Gen main section. I only ever backtrack through the forum "tree" or subsections if I happen to need to look in detailing or wheels and tires etc. I mainly read for the tech stuff. As I am browsing the main 4th Gen though I also like seeing what other members are doing with their rides but I can't say I wanna take the time to check through the subsection just to see those same pics. The majority of people don't post new pics unless they have done some form of alteration to their truck anyway and alot of the time the replies usually start a "how'd you do it" discussion, so that kind of makes those posts somewhat technical doesn't it? I can understand relegating all the pics that are just a "I didn't do anything to my truck but heres a cool picture of it at the beach" kinda shots though...that would make sense.
I understand the point of cleaning up the sections though, and appreciate that the forum team is trying to better the site. I am just on here often enough that I don't have a ton of "new" or "newly replied to threads" to read through. Good enough idea, just doesn't work for the way I use the forum.
