Default PROBLEMS resetting oil change due

Ok... got the oil changed this morning in a 2010 1500 Sport. They did not reset the oil change due warning. I said... no problem, I read that in the manual and it's simple enough. It states to turn the key on (ACC not start), press the gas pedal all the way down 3 times within 10 secs and then turn the key to off. Tried that and several variations many times and cannot get it to reset. Anyone know if there is a trick to it (i.e. waiting for the system to come up, starting as soon as the ram head appears, holding the peddle for a sec). Anyone else have issues?

Let me answer my own question before I get chewed out for not really paying attention. The process is correct except for the (ACC not start) part. That should be "Turn the key ON do not start"... not ACC. Works the first time when you do it right the first time.
