Default 10" lift... tires rubbing

My truck is a 2wd. We installed the CST 7" lift today with a 3" body lift. We are running a 20x12 Fuel Hostage wheel with 38" Nitto Mud Grapplers. Problem is, we are rubbing when turning pretty good. Anyone got any suggestions besides going with a smaller tire and thinner wheel? We are talking about doing some cutting but even then I think we need a tad bit more lift. Any help would be appreciated.

Damn, that looks good. How did you acheive the 3 inch of lift on top of the spindle lift. Does the upper a-arm contact the spring bucket? I know bullram did the 6" of the same lift. I guess there's not much left you can do for lift besides go custom. The problem is the rim and tire setup. Maybe 37's and not as wide tires. Maybe stretch the 37's or go for that cali look and go 35's. Or just deal with tje rubbing cause the truck looks good. Lol

Keala, he used the 3 inch spacer,(I used the 2 inch spacer) they dont have a coil yet, but that spacer might be rough, mine is a little stiff, but not too bad, i dont know how it feels with the 3 inch spacer to get that last inch ,but this was as far as i wanted to go, I am getting the bodylift for mine also, my 33's look like tricycle wheels............LOL........... I want to run 35's or 36's ,i figured the 37's would hit a little that is why I waited.
Also i found out that there is a lift to give it 3 more inches, after the body,
the ride would be compromised totally.
RAW RAM it looks killer , congrats, you will work it out, i know you dont want to hear this but maybe drop down to 36"s?????
next will be getting thos exhaust pipes back where they were, you could get the 5 inch tips and that wil make it easier to get them back up.

You have too wide of a wheel and too wide of a tire... which puts the outside of your tire way to far out. There isn't going to be some easy magical fix to make it never rub... other than cutting/trimming, or different wheels/tires. I bet with the right backspaced wheel you could run a narrower 39x13.50x20" Interco Irok easily (they dont last long, but it'd fit).

I'd guess that it is rough with a 3" spacer in there, because your shock will limit your downtravel... essentially your front suspension tops out constantly just driving down the road. Measure from the top of your tire to fender, then jack up the front and measure it again and see how much droop you get.

You can take off the lower valance from the front bumper easily. I did it on mine for a while, but put it back on to see if it would help my gas mileage (and I dont think it really helped). In the rear you can trim on the inner fenderwell and use fender washers and sheet metal screws to pull it back. The inner fenderwells are not that expensive to replace if you ever wanted to switch in the future.

You might even get away with 20x10's.... rather then the 12's.

Or, you could go Canuck style!!!

Hey bull what other 3" lift are you talking about? You tellibg me there is more lift that can be acheived after cst and body lifts? If so, i wanna know. Lol. Imagine that over 12" of lift on a 4th gen ram. That could solve his problem btw, with puttjng the 3" spacer in the front, does that mean the rear will be lower by a 1/2"-1". Basically it will hav that socal rear lean.

Are the tires 15.50s? It looks like you'd have to do ALOT of cutting. We put an 8" lift on a 2010 3500 with 20x12s and 38x15.50s. It rubbed quite a bit even after cutting and it was a good 3 inches higher then your truck. I'd get some 10 inch wheels and some 13.5 tires

Any updated pics of the truck and maybe a height comparison to something else?
